This small but choice collection of tupilaks comes from the heirs of an  Inuit art dealer.  The dealer purchased 125 Tupilaks from Michael Traskos, who in turn bought them from Poul Sikvat, a Greenland Eskimo, in 1965. These tupilaks were made by Tiktalo Kuitse (from Kulusuk/Kap Dan) and Poul Sikvat (from Kulusuk/Kap Dan), but (with one exception) the heirs do not know which of these were made by which artist.

The dealer kept these 10 tupilaks for the dealer's own private collection because of their quality and uniqueness.    They range in height from 4 to 5 inches.  They are in excellent condition.
